The Kurdistan Web (KurWeb) is a platform providing independent information on Kurds and their human heritage. At present, KurWeb provides its information in English for worldwide use. The Kurdish version is projected for inclusion in the near future. KurWeb is one of the first few Kurdish related web sites which still survive thanks to the none stope volunteer work since 1994.

Projects covered by KurWeb require global support. Whether you are a Scholar researching Kurdish issues or a Translator making information more accessible, joining our efforts will help ensure that KurWeb becomes a rich source of knowledge. If you are a scholar, school teacher or otherwise willing to volunteer your editing, copyrighting, and analytical skills as a support or member of the Editorial Board of KurWeb, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Even if you can translate one page every now and then it would mean a lot to KurWeb missions. Join our group and HELP US to provide more efficient services.

Are you a Web designer, graphic designer, programmer in VB, ASP, HTML, MS Access, SQL , PHP, JSP, Flash and etc, your volunteer help at any time would mean a great deal in our work, please join our group.

Encyclopaedia KURDISTANICA a Kurdistan Web project, is prepared by its Center for Research Study Group.

Since 1995, the KURDISTANICA has been supported as a "major project" by the Kurdistan Web and its volunteers researcher network of educational, academic research bodies.

Encyclopaedia KURDISTANICA is a historic undertaking: the most extensive research work ever conceived on the past and present culture of the people in Kurdistan and their contribution to the broader history of human civilization. In fact it is the only precise and reliable reference work on the lands, life, culture and history of all people in Kurdistan and their interaction with other societies.

To ensure the completion of this monumental work the Encyclopaedia KURDISTANICA Foundation has been established since 1998. Partially supported by the people involve, the ongoing publication online of the Encyclopaedia KURDISTANICA is now only possible by your donations as individuals and other NGO organizations to cover growing expenses do to the volume of work.
